Technically rooftop solar solutions are categorized into two types - Off Grid and On Grid. Off grid projects generate solar power for a specific purpose and such energy generated is consumed for that specific purpose without being synchronized with the Grid. Ex; Solar Street Lights, Emergency Lamps, Solar DC Fans, Calculators etc. Off Grid Solar Systems typically have battery for storage of energy for usage on requirement or during non sunshinehours. Sometimes even grid interactive solar systems with energy storage facility are referred as off grid projects, though they are technically grid connected. These Projects are thus used for a specific purpose of energy consumption rather than exporting to Grid for wider usage.

In On Grid solar systems the solar energy generated in synchronized or tied to grid parallely consumed. In On Grid Solar systems there are two types - simple grid tied system and grid tied system with battery backup. Simple Grid Tied systems generated solar energy during sunshine hours and feed the grid or the load connected to them during those sunshine hours, and these systems also trip when the primary source i.e. grid is not available. In case of Grid connected systems with battery backup, the batteries store part of solar energy generated for use during grid outage and/or during non-sunshine hours.

Industrial & Domestic Water Heating System :

We offer following systems for Water heating solutions-

1. Absorption Water Heating system- Industry, Hotels & Commercial establishments which requires water at a temperature of ~ 60 Deg C, Absorption water heating system is most Techno-economical solution scores more over conventional solar water heating system with regards to lesser space requirement, fairly constant temperature irrespective of sunshine & lower power consumption.

2. Conventional Solar Water Heating system- Solar water heating (SWH) is the conversion of sunlight into renewable energy for water heating using a solar thermal collector. In a "close-coupled" SWH system the storage tank is horizontally mounted immediately above the solar collectors on the roof. No pumping is required as the hot water naturally rises into the tank through thermosiphon flow. In a "pump-circulated" system the storage tank is ground- or floor-mounted and is below the level of the collectors; a circulating pump moves water or heat transfer fluid between the tank and the collectors.SWH systems are designed to deliver hot water for most of the year. However, in winter there sometimes may not be sufficient solar heat gain to deliver sufficient hot water. In this case a gas or electric booster is used to heat the water

3.Hybrid Water Heating System- We provide hybrid system of Solar & Absorption Heating system which is most Techno-economical feasible solution consist of Solar PV system used to generate electricity which is used for absorption heating system.

Solar Pumping & Lighting Systems :

Solar PV System for a Pump consists of Solar Panels arranged in series to generate a DC voltage compatible with the pump controller which thereby converts the voltage in to 1 Phase of 3 Phase AC supply to drive the pump directly. The pump controller acts as inverter cum VFD drive that converts DC solar power in to variable voltage and variable frequency AC power to run the pump motor according to its load and solar power available. Thus the Pump controllers acts a VFD drives that operate the pump to the extent possible even during low light conditions. The controller also protects the pump from Dry Run and any over voltage or over current etc.

Solar PV System for Lighting consists of Solar Panels arranged in series to generate a DC voltage compatible with the Light controller which thereby converts the voltage in to 1 Phase of 3 Phase AC supply to be given to luminaries.
